Terms of service

1. Service description

EPTA5 is a market analysis terminal. It provides :

• Historical macro and equity data (deep history, up to ~80 years on selected series)
• Automated pattern detection & probabilistic scoring
• The BRAIN AI module for cross-indicator queries
• Custom alerts & saved analyses

EPTA5 does not provide investment advice, buy/sell recommendations, or trading signals (within the meaning of MiFID II). You bear sole responsibility for your trading decisions.

2. Account registration

• You must be 18 or older, or a legal entity
• You must provide accurate information
• You must protect your credentials and accept responsibility for all account activity

4. Payment, cancellation, refund

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your account. Termination takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds for unused months.

EU consumer cooling-off period

EU consumers benefit from a 14-day cooling-off period after the start of the subscription. Cancellable by email (contact@epta5.com) or via account settings. Refunds are processed within 14 days.

Failed payment

If a payment fails, the account is suspended after a 7-day grace period. Data is retained per our retention schedule (see Privacy policy).

5. User obligations

• Use the service in compliance with applicable laws
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the data
• Do not share account credentials with third parties
• Respect fair-use limits (BRAIN AI quota, API rate limits per plan)

6. Liability disclaimers

We do not guarantee absolute data accuracy nor profitability of any analysis. The service is provided "as is". We disclaim liability for trading losses arising from user decisions based on the service.

7. Liability cap

In any case, EPTA5's aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid during the preceding 12 months, excluding trading losses. This cap applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable consumer-protection law.

8. Intellectual property

All elements of the service (code, design, data structures, models, content) remain the exclusive property of EPTA5 INC. or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service during your subscription. Unauthorised copying, redistribution, or commercial reuse is prohibited.

9. Account suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in case of :

• Material breach of these terms
• Fraudulent or abusive use
• Non-payment after grace period

You will be notified in writing. Your data is retained or deleted per our Privacy policy.

10. Modifications of these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. The courts of Paris have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may grant you additional rights in your country of residence.
